Saturday Links I Love – 9/24/11
Welcome to the first installment of Saturday Links I Love where I link up to my favorite blog posts from the week. There are so many great blogs out there where I often find inspiration, practical ideas, and just plain good reading. I plan to share the ones I love each week with you all.
Here are my favorites from this past week:
Jenny at A Mother’s Heritage shares here about trusting in God’s plan through physical trials, finding contentment and even thankfulness in knowing that through the trials comes sanctification. She speaks of looking “beyond the physical afflictions and see the wise hand of God behind it all”. Her heartfelt words point us back to the fact that we can not rely on our strength, we must put our trust in the Lord for everything.
Amy Andrews at Blogging with Amy shared about the Read Later Fast feature on Google Chrome. I love, love , LOVE this feature and am so glad Amy let us in on it. I am constantly finding things I want to read, but don’t have the time for at the moment. I save them in bookmarks and end up forgetting about going back to read them. This is a much easier way to save a page for reading at a more convenient time.
I’m excited to find a super simple recipe for making a homemade echinacea tincture at A Delightful Home. With cold and flu season coming up we can use all the immune boosting help we can get. Thanks for sharing this recipe Stacey! Now I just need to get my hand on some echinacea flowers…
