Saturday Links I Love 10/1/11
Ohhh…I have some goodies I’m excited to share from the blog world this past week. I love gleaning wisdom and ideas from the many creative and talented bloggers out there. Here are a few of my favorites from this week:
First off, I am dying to try this recipe for Gluten Free Coconut Flour Brownies that was shared on Heavenly Homemakers a few days ago. I ran out of coconut flour and am waiting for my next shipment to arrive. You can bet that as soon as the package comes I’ll be running to the kitchen to whip up these yummies.
I am totally in love with this Love Worksheet created by Stacy McDonald at Your Sacred Calling. Based on 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, the worksheet takes all the qualities of Love and offers scriptures that expand on each. This is a great activity for the entire family to do together that will help everyone understand this passage of scripture better and find ways to display the qualities of Love.
As a homeschooling mom, I found a lot to identify with in this post about reluctant learners at Simple Homeschool, having a couple of reluctant learners myself. I appreciate Toni’s insight have had a similar experience with changing my approach with the younger child. This is a great read for any parent of a child who seems to be struggling with school.
And finally, Jenny at A Mother’s Heritage released her E-book this week…Embracing the Mess, Responding Joyfully to the Mess of Motherhood. I just got my copy today and can’t wait to read it. I can sure use the encouragement toward joyfulness in my day to day.
What about you? Have you read any great blog posts this week you’d like to share?
