Day 1 of the 30 Day Fitness Challenge…Are You In?

I’m so excited to have several friends joining up for the 30 Day Fitness Challenge.  Today is the Big Day.  Let’s get on the road to physical fitness…an essential factor in our overall health.

 

Start date: 12/1/11    End date: 12/31/11

 

My plan for the next 30 days is the following:

 

Four days per week I am going to do the T-Tapp Basic Workout Plus DVD. This is only a 15 minute workout…did I mention I’m starting small.  

In addition I am committing to walking five days per week for 30 minutes. This will not be a power walk since I’ll have my 4 children with me, but the point is to get into the habit of making the time to get out and walk.

 

My main goal in doing this is to increase my level of cardiovascular fitness and physical strength over a period of time.  I am aiming to create a lifelong habit of regular exercise…something I have neglected for far too long.

 

It is very important to me to start small.  I have learned that if I jump into something full force I tend to either loose interest after a short amount of time or I get overwhelmed and quit.  Since the result I am looking for is a longterm, lifelong habit, I am easing myself into it gently.

It’s not too late to join up!  Feel free to start at any time.  Start where you are.  Start small if you need to.  The important thing is to get started (usually the hardest part of any new thing).
